Rom 3:23-24

There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Good idea, bad idea

Having ever had children or been around children, one knows they have good ideas and bad ideas. This afternoon, I walked out back to see what one might call a bad idea. Immediately, I said 'STOP' when I saw it! Law ran inside to get the camera, but this IS NOT a posed position!

Law is THRILLED that our last wti is over!!

Last few posts in Yuma

Its moving time, so these last few weeks will be flying by! Scott's last class ends tomorrow. I think we have 8 weeks to go, so the mad rush is on to set up the move, get this house ready, etc. Last night, we had our co-op end of year party. Law finished kindergarten and Maisy her first year of preschool. Its warmed up, so the kids have been enjoying the pool and a sprinkler. I figure we can burn some energy and water the dry spots at the same time. GENIUS, I know! :)

Healthy, smiling children! The water is a little cold...where's Ezra?Notice Ezra is nowhere near the cold water! ;)

Maisy the adventurous one! (who likes to pick out her own clothes!)

Belated Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter to you all! It was a nice day in Yuma to remember the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ! The kids enjoyed the egg hunt this morning, and the egg dying the day before. We also had a quick visit from Shelly and Madison on their way to a wedding in NY. Their family moved to Hawaii about 18 months ago. It is the first time we have been separated since the 1900's...HAHA..probably 1999. Madison and Law picked up where they left off. Thanks for driving all that way Shel! (Drew and Justin were with grandparents, so no pics to post, sorry)

Madison wedged between Law and Maisy!
Law sure loves his lettuce!
Ezra and Feven display the Easter eggs.

Law and Maisy go to work dying.

Yuma County Fair 2009!

The kids look forward to the fair from the second we leave each year! Today, was fair day! We have a fun time visiting animals our friends have raised and watching the award show for 4H sewing. This year, Maisy was our adventurous one. Just big enough to go on the big kid rides, we had to talk her out of a few things. She also competed in the pickle eating contest for kids under 11! Law did a nice job with dart throwing. Ezra and Feven were in awe of all the rides. We will miss the fair next year.

Law tries to lasso a calf.
Feven plays in the corn bin.
Check out Maisy milking a cow!
Feven braves feeding a goat in the petting area.
Law and Ezra shoot for the pole.
Check out Maisy's hair!Ezra is just about tall enough to get on the rides.Maisy has a strong showing in the pickle eating contest.

Deuteronomy 10:18

He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing.
